Carolina Heaven Covid-19 Response

The cleanliness and sanitation of any property is paramount, especially now during a pandemic. We have implemented procedures and policies for our staff and our guests that are effective indefinitely:

  • We keep cleaning supplies, disinfectants, and hand sanitizer onsite for our guests. These supplies are located below the kitchen sink and in the bathrooms.
  • The cleaning crews will clean the house wearing masks and gloves, and the house will be thoroughly cleaned between guests. The cleaning crew will follow these rules:
  1. Use sanitary disinfectants and wipe down all points of entry, doorknobs, handrails, frequently handled areas, surfaces, and countertops in bathrooms and the kitchen.
  2. Allow normally a 24-hour buffer between guests after cleaning.
  • We ask our guests to be considerate of our property and other guests. If any individual guest in the party has any of the following issues, we ask that individual to please NOT enter the cabin:
  1. The guest tested positive for Covid-19 within 14 days of arrival, unless 2 negative tests have been performed and confirmed since the positive test.
  2. If a guest has been in close proximity to any other person who has tested positive to Covid-19 within 7 days of your arrival, unless the guest has tested negative immediately prior to arrival.
  3. If you think you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, please get a Covid-19 test and results prior to your arrival to the cabin. If the test proves you are positive, please do not enter the cabin.
  • If you must cancel your trip due to Covid-19, we will work with you to arrange another date and apply your deposit toward that date with no penalty. If we are unable to arrange another date, we will be flexible in applying credits or refunds to the guest when Covid-19 was the reason for cancellation.
